How to perform the five daily prayers

Hello blessing to all,
After we have gone through some important steps of converting to Islam  we will take a look at the second pillar of Islam(the five daily prayers) as we already know the five daily prayers are very popular among Muslims and non-Muslims because it is being performed five times daily at every mosque and indoors as well, how to perform this prayers are very important to every Muslim, just like the first pillar is compulsory when converting to Islam the five daily prayers are also compulsory to be performed daily , there are no much excuses to skip the five daily prayers, there are only a few things that could allow a Muslim to skip prayers, The holy prophet Muhammad(S.W.A) once said that the pen is lifted upon three (people)

  1. upon the one at sleep  till he wakes up
  2. upon the madman till he recovers
  3. upon the child till he matures

Let me first explain about the pen, Allah has revealed in the holy Quran  that verily, over you(are appointed angels in charge of mankind)to watch you, kiraman(honorable)katibeen-writing down your deeds they know all that you do.'' [82:10-12], skipping the five daily prayers as a Muslim is a bad sin and it will be recorded as a bad deed, but if you are among the three listed above you are excluded from that responsibility, the first one talks about a person sleeping whiles it time for prayer and must perform that prayer as soon as he/she wakes up from sleeping and should not skip the prayer, the second one is a mad person, to perform a prayer one must be in a sound mind to know exactly what he/she is doing to be able to follow the rules of the prayer
so as long as a Muslim remain conscious he/she must perform the five daily prayers,  the holy prophet Muhammad once said if any of you can't stand to perform prayers ,he may sit ,if he can't sit he may lay down.
Women in their menstruation period are also not allowed to perform the five daily prayers until they end their menstruation period. The five daily prayers has its own set of rules that every Muslim must master, the five daily prayers are as follow

  1. Fajir
  2. zuhr
  3. Asr
  4. maghrib
  5. Ishaa
salaat-al fajir: is the first prayer of the day and it is performed very early morning before sunrise and is the shortest length of prayer and the longest recitation of the holy Quran among the five
salaat-al Zuhr: is also performed when the day begin to decline
salaat-al Asr: is performed in the afternoon
salaat-al maghrib: is performed after sunset
salaat-al ishaa: is performed later at night, every prayer has its own time and must be observed ,Allah says in the holy Quran chapter 4 surah Nisaa verse 103: indeed the salaat is a prescribed duty that should be performed at the appointed times by the believers. but before any prayer is performed there is a purification called [wudu] ablution you can watch this short video here
there are some conditions and process that must be learned by every Muslim and it is best to learn this process from a scholar or a personal Islamic teacher, you can also read or download pdf here this will teach and show you all the process involve in performing a successful prayer, that will be all for now
stay blessed.
